Accessibility

We want The Market Sage to be usable by as many people as possible, regardless of device, ability, or assistive technology. Accessibility is treated as part of building the site, not an afterthought. We aim to meet the spirit of WCAG 2.1 AA — though we have not been formally audited or certified.

What we support

• Reader controls — every page's footer has a text-size control (A / A+ / A++) and a high-contrast toggle. Your choices are saved and applied before the page paints, so there's no flash.
• Light & dark themes — a theme toggle in the header, defaulting to your system preference.
• Keyboard navigation — the site is operable without a mouse: a "skip to content" link, focus-visible outlines, and keyboard-driven menus, search (press /), and dialogs (close with Esc).
• Reduced motion — animations respect your system's "reduce motion" setting.
• Semantic, labelled markup — headings, landmarks, alt text, and ARIA labelling so screen readers can make sense of the content; diagrams include text descriptions.
• Readable by design — high-contrast colour tokens, scalable rem-based text, and self-hosted fonts (no third-party calls that could fail or slow things down).
• No autoplay, no surprise motion, no tracking pop-ups — nothing grabs focus or plays sound on its own.

Known limitations

• The interactive payoff playground and other charts are inherently visual; we provide text summaries and labels, but the charts themselves aren't a full substitute via screen reader.
• We have not yet completed a formal third-party accessibility audit.
